NCL Corporate Services is linked with the Law Office of Lefkos Clerides and Sons, established in 1946 by Mr. Clerides’ father who later served as the Minister of Justice and was the Chairman of the Cyprus Bar Council for 15 years.

Mr. Lefcos Clerides’ brother, Glafcos, fought against the Nazis, served as the President of the Republic of Cyprus for 10 years and was an internationally acclaimed political leader.


The families of two NCL core people, Mr. Nicos Clerides and Sir Christopher Pissarides, hail from the small village of Agros in the Troodos Mountains in Cyprus. From those humble beginnings they both grew into towering personalities – one to receive the Nobel Prize as the Regius Professor at the London School of Economics, the other to become a respected international litigator and the Chairman of NCL.


Mr. Nicos Clerides’ brother and ex-partner at the Law Office, Mr. Costas Clerides, also pursued legal studies in London and was the Supreme Court Judge before being appointed the Attorney General of Cyprus in late 2013.


Building on this rich family and professional background, NCL has developed a solid reputation in its own right. Today, NCL works hand-in-hand with the Lefcos Clerides & Sons Law Office and facilitates high-level meetings and introductions to Cypriot and international organisations, including banks.
